New Partnership with Heroes Wildlife Adventures!
🤝 PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT 🤝
We are proud to officially announce a new partnership between Warriors in Nature Project and Heroes Wildlife Adventures 🇺🇸🌲
Based out of Morgan County, Indiana, Heroes Wildlife Adventures is doing incredible work by getting veterans into the outdoors through hunting and fishing opportunities across the country. From upland birds and waterfowl to big-game hunts like elk, they provide once-in-a-lifetime experiences that help veterans reconnect with purpose, confidence, and camaraderie.
In addition to their national hunt programs, Heroes Wildlife Adventures also pairs veterans with service dogs and has joined forces with a fellow veteran in Monrovia, Indiana, whose woodworking craftsmanship is being used to further support and uplift the veteran community.
This partnership brings together two organizations committed to the same mission: connecting veterans to the outdoors, to each other, and to resources that support long-term mental health and overall well-being.
Together, we look forward to expanding opportunities, strengthening networks, and ensuring veterans know they are never alone on this journey.
More collaborations coming soon. 🇺🇸🌿

New Partnerships🔥 New Partnerships Ignite the WIN/WIN Fire!
The Warriors In Natures Project (WIN) is thrilled to announce two new collaborations with fantastic leaders in the Bushcraft world: Scarlet Fire Bushcraft with Fred Lucas and Hoosier Bushcraft with Tony Richardson! This is a major WIN/WIN for the WIN community, as we plan to team up on training events, skills workshops, and more outdoor adventures in the coming year! A Warm Introduction at the Winter Meet & GreetWe recently had the pleasure of hosting our First Annual Winter Meet & Greet, and it was a roaring success, thanks in large part to our new partners! The event was hosted by Fred Lucas of Scarlet Fire Bushcraft at his location, where he shared some incredible fire starting techniques—a perfect skill for a cold day! Between learning new tricks, we kept warm with hot coffee and hot chocolate, and celebrated the start of these partnerships by roasting some dogs over a crackling fire. Fred and Tony are not only experts in their craft, but they share the WIN Project's passion for getting people outdoors and building confidence in nature. Welcome to the WIN Family! We look forward to sharing the results of these new partnerships with all of our Warriors in Nature very soon. |

C0LTS - WIN on Monday Night Football
The Warriors in Nature Project is overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement to announce that we have been selected as the Colts Small Business Spotlight winner for the Monday Night Football game against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday, December 22nd!
A Game-Changing Donation and ExperienceThis incredible opportunity, made possible by the Indianapolis Colts and their partners, provides a monumental boost to our grassroots organization:
- $1,000 Donation: This generous financial gift is a direct investment in the mental health of our Hoosier veterans. For a small non-profit like ours, $1,000 immediately translates into funding for five new restorative retreats, offering veterans essential, trauma-informed healing through nature-based therapy.
- VIP Game Experience: The honor of receiving two on-the-field tickets and the full VIP experience is an unprecedented thrill! This allows our leadership to witness the incredible spirit of the Colts organization firsthand and represents a profound recognition of the dedication of our veteran staff. We cannot wait to feel the energy of Lucas Oil Stadium and represent our veteran community under the Monday Night Lights!
A WIN/WIN for Our Heroes
This award is truly a WIN/WIN—a moment where the spirit of the NFL meets the service of our veterans:
- Colts and Partners: By shining a spotlight on our work, the Colts organization demonstrates an unparalleled commitment to veteran wellness and reinforces the power of their platforms, like Kicking The Stigma, to uplift those who served.
- Warriors in Nature Project: The visibility and the resources from this spotlight are invaluable. They allow us to reach more veterans struggling with the transition and PTSD, showing them that there is a supportive community and a path to peace found in the tranquility of nature.
Our deepest appreciation goes out to the Indianapolis Colts for this life-changing recognition. We are proud to join the Colts family and excited to cheer them on to victory on December 22nd! Thank you for helping us score a win for our heroes!
🤝 A WIN/WIN for Service: Warriors in Nature Project & Fishers Century Club
The Warriors in Nature Project (WIN) is honored and profoundly grateful to have been selected as a charitable recipient by the Fishers Century Club at their recent quarterly meeting held at The Club Coworking in Fishers. This partnership represents a powerful WIN/WIN for veterans and the local Fishers community!
The Warriors in Nature Project's Win
- Financial & Collective Support: Thanks to the generosity of the Fishers Century Club members, the collective support for the Warriors in Nature Project already exceeded $3,000, with additional donations expected.
- Mission Amplification: The funding helps WIN continue its mission as a 501(c)(3) non-profit that helps veterans "get outdoors and unplugged from the chaos of life after service".
- Healing Through Nature: The support directly enables the Project to give veterans an opportunity to reconnect with nature, each other, and themselves. This creates space for healing, camaraderie, and purpose in some of the "most peaceful outdoor settings imaginable". The winning presentation was delivered by Marine veteran and Purple Heart recipient Justin McDonald.
- Impactful Local Investment: The Fishers Century Club, founded in 2021, is a group of individuals committed to making a positive impact on the local community. By selecting WIN, the Club reinforces its mission of supporting meaningful non-profit organizations.
- Empowering Veterans: Through the Club's collective giving, members provide direct, tangible support to veterans. The Club has donated nearly $70,000 since its inception.
- Community-Driven Philanthropy: The Club's recurring quarterly meetings allow members to pitch charities and vote to give a "winning organization" direct financial support. The Club approaches its 19th meeting, a milestone that reflects the powerful, community-driven philanthropy.
