On November 10th, 2024, we celebrated the Marine Corps Birthday the best way we know how—on our feet, with purpose, and with our community right beside us. Our first-ever 5K Ruck March, hosted at Millrace Park in Columbus, Indiana, was more than just a walk—it was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
With about 55 people in attendance—from veterans and families to everyday supporters—we hit the trail with weighted packs and full hearts. There were shared stories, gritty laughs, and the kind of camaraderie you can’t fake. We marched in honor of those who serve, those we’ve lost, and those still fighting silent battles.
💰 Together, we raised $960 toward our mission of reconnecting veterans to the healing power of nature, family, and purpose.
📍Why it mattered:
This event wasn’t just about miles—it was about momentum. It marked the beginning of a tradition that blends fitness, remembrance, and support for our veteran community. And doing it on the Marine Corps Birthday? You know that hit a little different for us.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, rucked, or simply cheered us on. **This was the first—**but it sure won’t be the last.
One mission. One ruck. One unforgettable birthday.
