Founded and led by veterans since October 2024, Warriors in Nature Project Inc understands that the transition from service never truly ends. We believe the best way to navigate that journey is by unplugging from the chaos of life and reconnecting with the wild.
What We Do In our first year alone, we hosted 8 outdoor events and provided over 85 Indiana State Park passes to active duty members and veterans. This year, our mission is even bolder: we are scheduled to explore 12 of Indiana's 24 state parks as part of 20 total outdoor adventures.
The "WIN/WIN" Philosophy We believe veterans find healing through helping. We don't just want to provide an event; we want to know your family by their first names. We value the camaraderie of the group, the independence of solo adventure, and the vital role that families play in a veteran’s well-being. By creating a space where veterans can lead and serve one another, we foster the brotherhood and sisterhood often missed after discharge.
Our Goal: Prevention Through Purpose Our mission is to reach veterans long before suicide is ever a thought. By providing avenues for connection and outdoor passion, we help bridge the gap between military and civilian life.
